![]() It will stutter when I am simply walking around an empty room and, worse, just looking. It has nothing to do with the internal graphics of the game itself, changing settings does nothing. Problem: the game works fine aside from one incredibly irritating frame drop/stutter that i get for a fraction of a second once every 2-5 seconds, sometimes shorter. ![]() I'll be more specific, and if this doesn't catch anyone's attention I'll repost as its own thread. I'm necroing this thread to mention I have the same exact problem. Something is attempting to get a NONE save flag! Unloading 231 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Could this be the cause of the stutter?įallback handler could not load library E:/Steam SSD Games 2/steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/EtG_Data/Mono/LightFXįallback handler could not load library E:/Steam SSD Games 2/steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/EtG_Data/Mono/.\LightFXįallback handler could not load library E:/Steam SSD Games 2/steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/EtG_Data/Mono/libLightFXįallback handler could not load library E:/Steam SSD Games 2/steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/EtG_Data/Mono/.\libLightFX Hope the devs look into it because it seems a fair few people are having the same issue too.ĭon't know if this is of any help to the developer, but I snooped around the output_log.txt and found this error(?). It's a shame really, I really enjoy this game, but I can't with this issue. Frankly, I am at a lost, this game doesn't look like it'd be that demanding and I don't have stuttering issues with any other games so I know it's not my computer. So I updated to the most recent driver, it didn't help. For some reason, I didn't even think about that.I will update to a the most recent one, as well as the one you confirmed working, and get back to you. To be honest I haven't updated my drivers in a while. Not sure what in the driver messed up Gungeon but it's a problem i can reproduce any time. With driver version 364.72 it runs absolutely fine for me but as Doom was released i installed driver version 365.19 and for the first time (in about 200 hours) i had lags, FPS drops, hickups in several runs and even my first two game crashes (had none before)Īfter i finished Doom i switched back to the older driver and now it works just fine again. I have an i5 2500, 8GB, Win7 圆4 Home, GTX 970 Strix, game is installed on a 2TB HDD. Since you use a GTX 970, may i ask which driver version is running on your system? I reinstalled it on a SSD, but the issue persisted (after almost a day of no stuttering). I am currently reinstalling the game again.Īt first I had the game stored on a hard drive. I changed absolutely no settings on my PC during that time. However, today I turned on my computer and booted up the game to find the stuttering had returned. I reinstalled the game before and I thought that fixed it as I had no issues for the rest of the day. If that doesn't work, then what D2dalCE said is a good question-have your gfx drivers changed recently? I've had a couple people report strange performance issues that go away with a reinstall (no idea why, it isn't super common). The first thing you can try doing is delete the game from Steam (don't worry, your saves are stored elsewhere, they'll be safe) and reinstall.
